Solution

Planned

Planned, specified, and not built.

Video consultation with consent capture, a session record, an e-prescription and payment, designed against the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, and scheduled rather than shipped.

All solutions

Telemedicine software lets a doctor consult remotely and produce the same clinical and financial record as an in-person visit. In India it is governed by the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020, which set out what may be prescribed remotely and what must be documented.

What is planned

Every line here is scheduled scope from our product plan. None of it is something you can use today, and this page exists so you can plan around that rather than discover it in a demo.

  • Scheduled video consultation, booked like any other appointment(planned)
  • Consent capture before the consultation begins(planned)
  • A session record that becomes part of the patient’s chart(planned)
  • E-prescription at the end of the call, signed(planned)
  • Payment before or after the consultation(planned)
  • The obligations of the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 built into the flow(planned)

Why it is not built yet

Telemedicine is straightforward to demonstrate and hard to do responsibly: consent, identity, what may be prescribed remotely, and what the record must show are all regulated. We have sequenced it behind the modules our current customers actually run their day on. If teleconsultation is your primary requirement, tell us. A committed customer changes what we build next.

How it runs

  1. 01

    Book

Planned: the patient books a teleconsultation like any other appointment, and pays if your clinic charges upfront.

  2. 02

    Consent

Planned: consent is captured before the call, as the guidelines require.

  3. 03

    Consult

Planned: the doctor consults over video with the chart open beside them.

  4. 04

    Prescribe

Planned: a signed e-prescription, within what the guidelines permit remotely.

What this does not do

This is not available. There is no video consultation in the product today, in any form. We publish this page because a buyer searching for telemedicine deserves a straight answer rather than a page that implies availability and a demo that quietly avoids it.

Questions we are asked

Can we do video consultations on Nirogix today?

No. It is planned scope and there is no video consultation in the product.

When will it be available?

It is scheduled in the phase that adds the connected and regulated capabilities: claims, WhatsApp and telemedicine. We do not publish dates we cannot commit to, and a customer who needs it moves it up the list.

Which guidelines would it follow?

The Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020, which govern consent, identification, what may be prescribed remotely and what the record must contain. Those obligations are part of the build, not a compliance page written afterwards.
