Theater booking without overlaps, checklists and consent before the theater, a signed operative note, recovery, and implant billing.
What it does today
- A day schedule for every theater, with bookings that never overlap, and utilization
- A pre-operative checklist, consent with a printed form, and a pre-anesthesia assessment checked before the patient is taken in
- The surgical safety checklist (sign in, time out, sign out) signed in order
- The anesthesia record and chart, and an operative note signed by the surgeon
- Recovery with the Aldrete score, and a handover to the ward
- The surgical team, equipment reservations, and a charge sheet of fees, implants and consumables posted to the inpatient bill
