Instrument sets through sterilization cycles, issue and return, with a recall that names every patient.
What it does today
- A register of instrument sets with what each holds, how it is sterilized and its shelf life
- Sterilization cycles for steam, ethylene oxide, plasma and dry heat, decided by their recorded parameters and chemical, Bowie-Dick and biological indicators
- A sterile-until date on every set, so an expired set is never issued
- Issue to an operation, a ward or a department, and return counted against the set’s contents
- A recall when a biological indicator fails, naming every operation and patient the load reached
- A printed load record with a barcode label for each set

On the platform core
