An emergency board by triage category, rapid registration including an unidentified patient, triage, orders, and admission to a bed.
What it does today
- An emergency board of everyone in the department, most urgent first, with how long each has waited against their triage category
- Rapid registration of an existing patient, a new one, or one nobody can identify yet, identified later
- The medico-legal record and police intimation
- Five-category triage whose vital signs join the patient’s own history
- The doctor’s assessment, treatment orders recorded as given, and laboratory orders sent to the lab
- A disposition: discharged, admitted to a bed, referred, left against advice, or death, with a printed emergency record
