Feature
BuiltThe paper worth removing first is the paper that gets re-typed.
Digital registration, a digital consultation record, printed documents that carry your branding, and files attached to the patient they belong to.
A paperless clinic is not one with no printer. It is one where the record of what happened lives in a system rather than in a file cabinet, and where nobody copies the same detail onto a second form.
What is digital today
The record, and the documents that come out of it.
- Registration, with patients able to send details ahead through your QR link
- The consultation record: complaints, diagnosis, prescription and orders
- An electronic signature on the consultation, versioned and pinned to what it signed
- Documents attached to a patient and to a visit, archived with a reason rather than deleted
- Prescriptions, invoices and lab orders as proper print documents carrying your branding
- An append-only audit trail behind every change
What paperless does not mean here
We are precise about this because the term is used loosely, and a buyer who assumes the wrong thing finds out late.
- Consent forms captured digitally with a signature(planned)
- A document library with preview, versioning and folders(planned)
- Optical character recognition on uploaded documents(planned)
- E-signature on documents other than the consultation(planned)
How it runs
- 01
Ahead of the visit
The patient sends their details through your link. The desk reviews and completes the registration.
- 02
During
The consultation is written and signed in the system. A referral letter handed over at the counter is attached to the chart on the spot.
- 03
Out
Prescription and invoice print as documents on your letterhead, from their own routes, not a screenshot of an application screen.
What this does not do
Files are attached, listed and opened in a browser tab. There is no preview pane, no versioning, no folder structure, no OCR and no e-signature on an uploaded document, so “document management” is a claim this product cannot support, and we do not make it. Digital consent capture is not built either. What is genuinely paperless today is the clinical and financial record; the filing cabinet is still a filing cabinet.
Questions we are asked
Do you have document management?
No, and we will not say we do. Files are attached, listed and opened. There is no preview, no versioning, no signing and no OCR.
Can we capture consent digitally?
Not yet. ABDM consent status is visible where it applies, but a clinical consent form with a captured signature is scheduled.
What does a printed prescription look like?
Your letterhead, your branding, generated from its own print route rather than by printing an application screen. Same for invoices and lab orders.
Is a signed note really uneditable?
In place, yes. It is corrected by amendment with a stated reason, and the version as signed is preserved. Reopening a signed note is a separate permission from writing one.
