BuiltReports that say how every figure was counted.
A report for each part of the hospital over any period, each doctor’s and each department’s figures, and custom reports from a fixed catalog, every one exported to CSV with the notes on how its numbers were counted.
Hospital reporting answers three questions: what came in, what is outstanding, and what is going wrong. A three-hundred-report catalog is a poor substitute for the handful that get opened every day, and a number nobody can explain is worse than no number.
What is built
A report per part of the hospital, chosen for the period you pick, and each one says how its figures were counted: a cancelled visit counted apart, a wait of more than 12 hours treated as a record left open rather than averaged in. A report appears only for the modules your hospital has.

- Laboratory: orders, turnaround by priority, and abnormal results by test
- Patients and consultations: registrations, returning patients, and the commonest diagnoses and medicines
- Each doctor’s visits, signed and unsigned notes, orders, and the consultation bills raised and collected
- Each department’s visits, average wait, admissions and consultation billing
- Custom reports built from a fixed list of datasets, groupings and measures, and saved for the team
- Every report exported to CSV, with how each figure was counted at the bottom
- Pharmacy sales, stock valuation, expiry and non-moving stock, in the pharmacy’s own reports
- A dashboard whose tiles are permission-gated, so a tile you cannot act on is not rendered
- Every table exports the columns you can see(planned)

What this does not do
Custom reports are built from a fixed catalog, not written freely, and there are no filters inside a report yet. Nothing is scheduled, emailed or printed: reports export to CSV. A doctor’s figures include only the consultation bill raised at check-in, because laboratory, pharmacy and inpatient bills do not name a doctor, so a doctor’s full revenue is not built. Department figures stop short of profitability, since there is no cost data, and bed occupancy and length of stay are built while bed turnover is not. Reports count the whole hospital, so a group cannot yet compare one branch with another. Report export works; exporting straight from any table does not.

Questions we are asked
Can we build our own reports?
Yes, from a fixed catalog. You choose what the report is about (visits, admissions, laboratory orders, surgeries, diagnoses, prescriptions or registrations), how to group it and what to measure, and save it for the team. There is no free-form query, and a report cannot yet be narrowed with a filter.
Can we see revenue by doctor?
Partly. Doctor performance shows each doctor’s visits and the consultation bills raised and collected for them. Laboratory, pharmacy and inpatient bills do not name a doctor yet, so a full revenue figure per doctor is scheduled.
Can a group see across its branches?
Not yet. Reports count the whole hospital in one figure; a branch filter and a comparison between branches are scheduled with the group work.
Can we export?
Every report exports to CSV, with the notes on how each figure was counted at the bottom. Exporting straight from any table is planned. Either way, we never charge for getting your data out.
Who sees the reports?
Your administrator and branch administrators by default, and anyone else your administrator grants. By default only the administrator saves custom reports, and a report appears only for the modules your hospital has.
Does the dashboard show everyone the same thing?
No. A tile a user has no permission to act on is not rendered for them, and a tile is only clickable when the click has a genuine destination.
